Working Group Reports
Following publication of Opening Doors - Department for Social Development's Strategy for the Delivery of Voluntary Advice Services to the Community, the ASA set up 3 working groups producing three high level reports to progress the recommendations made in the strategy document.
These reports cover:
Training - A broad receommendation that the sector should develop training within the National Qualifications Framework
Quality Assurance - A recommendation that the sector should move to (a) Organisational audit and (b) peer group quality of advice audit.
IT - Recommends a strategy for providing the advice sector with a single It system and a single case management system, and deals with other important issues such as data protection and business continuity.
The three reports below are available for consultation until Mid March 2009. Please email any comments or responses to the ASA.
