Beat the Recession in L'Derry

The first 'Beat the Recession' Roadshow took place on Saturday 9th October in the Strand Road Tesco Store in L'Derry.

Beat the Recession advisers Eddie Smith and Eamon Donnelly were on hand to provide information and talk to over 100 shoppers at the event in the Quayside Shopping Centre. Eamon and Eddie talked to shoppers about the new initiative and were also able to help people with benefit maximisation, budgeting advice and income maximisation. 

The ‘Beat The Reccession’ project seeks to support individuals and families struggling financially due to loss of income and changed circumstances as a result of the economic downturn.
