Citizens Advice attends Alliance Conference 2012

Citizens Advice was represented at the recent Alliance Party conference at the La Mon Hotel near Belfast.  There was a lively engagement with delegates and elected representatives on as range of current issues and advice matters.

Head of Information & Policy, Pól Callaghan said:

"Citizens Advice values it contacts with parties across the spectrum at both a regional level and in local areas.  We had a good engagement with delegates seeking information on advice issues, particularly the impact of benefits changes and money issues.  We also continued our discussions with elected representatives at Westminster and Stormont level on a range of topical issues including welfare reform and the need to mitigate its worst effects in Northern Ireland."
