Citizens Advice wins benefit take up tender

Citizens Advice said today that it has won a further tender from the Social Security Agency (SSA) for benefit take up through to March 2010. The benefit initiative will cover Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance, Families and Carers. Barry McVeigh, Project Manager with Citizens Advice, said the organisation was delighted to be working with the SSA on a  further anti-poverty initiative.

"Our contract with the SSA last year identified over £5.7m of benefits for socially vulnerable people, and we look forward to working with he SSA this year on their innovative business model. "
