Lisburn CAB wins Peoples' Choice Award

Lisburn Citizens Advice Bureau is the first recipient of the new Peoples' Choice Award. The award, which was voted on by the public, was presented at the Mayor's Awards for Volunteering. The event is hosted each year by Lisburn City Council to recognise the work carried out by volunteers in Lisburn City.

Mr John Maxwell, Lisburn CAB manager, said he was delighted at the Bureau being the first group to win the award. He commented, "it is the public's recognition of the sterling work carried out by the volunteers on behalf of our clients."
