Citizens Advice calls for a new Social Contract

The Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Derek Alcorn has called for the development of a new social contract in an analysis of the current financial and social crisis.

In an article in the current issue of Frontline he argues that the era of deregulation introduced by Margaret Thatcher in 1979  exploded spectacularly with the sub prime crisis in 2008 and that new financial and social models are needed.
